Taken en verantwoordelijkheden

Are you detail-oriented, legally savvy, and looking for an international challenge? Then the position of Registration Coordinator is your opportunity to contribute to the protection of innovative vegetable varieties worldwide.

Why you want to work at Enza Zaden as a Registration Coordinator

As a Registration Coordinator, you are responsible for managing the registration and protection of new vegetable varieties, both nationally and internationally. Once the decision has been made to introduce a variety to the market, you coordinate the process and initiate the necessary procedures. This requires close collaboration across the organization. You ensure clear communication and keep a close eye on deadlines. You enjoy staying up to date with the latest legal developments and regulations and translating them into actionable steps for our business.

Make a difference as a Registration Coordinator

  • Initiate registrations and maintain registration files

  • Monitor laws and regulations related to (commercial) registrations and plant breeders’ rights, and adjust procedures accordingly

  • Advise and inform colleagues and departments about commercial and legal registrations

  • Contribute to projects and continuously improve our ways of working

You will be part of a nice and dedicated team of five people within the Legal department, which plays a central role in our international organization. Working in this team means being in a positive environment where enthusiasm goes hand in hand with hard work and high-quality service. The team collaborates closely with all departments and levels within the company. You’ll work in an inspiring international environment from our modern headquarters in Enkhuizen, with the possibility to work from home part of the time. You will report to the Manager Registrations.

What you bring as our future colleague

As a Registration Coordinator, you know how to gather information and stay fully up to date on registration and plant breeders’ rights, both nationally and internationally.

With your excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, you know how to strike the right tone to guide the entire registration and protection process smoothly.

Your international contacts with authorities, agents, legal professionals, and regional colleagues require flexibility and strong interpersonal skills. You tailor your approach to different cultures and local circumstances. You ensure deadlines are met and enjoy working with processes and systems where quality, efficiency, and optimization are key.

You are proactive, accurate, and able to bridge the gap between Research & Development and Marketing & Sales. You are a go-to person and a central figure when it comes to registrations and plant breeders’ rights.

In short, you:

  • Have at least a completed MBO-4 level education

  • Are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written

  • Have at least 3 years of experience in an international administrative role

  • Have a demonstrable affinity with the legal field

  • Preferably have experience with variety registration, plant breeders’ rights, or other IP rights

  • Excel at researching the latest laws and regulations and extracting the most relevant information

  • Are accurate, stress-resistant, and solution-oriented

  • Are decisive and have a strong sense of interpersonal dynamics
