Make a difference as a Product Specialist
As a Product Specialist, you are responsible for conducting trials, evaluating, and reporting on new experimental varieties during  the last stages of research. You play a key role in supporting the decision-making process for variety development through close collaboration with Breeding and Sales teams. Next to that you support growers worldwide with essential cultivation knowledge and helping them choose the best varieties from our portfolio. With your understanding of the customers, their regions and heated cultivation, you play a key role in ensuring optimal crop results.

Your main tasks include:
•    Administering, collecting, and analyzing trial data in our systems and formats.
•    Actively contributing to variety decisions, analyzing R&D  trials, and reporting recommendations to the Sales team.
•    Providing growers worldwide with tailored cultivation advice.

You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team and report directly to the Crop Breeding Manager. This role offers opportunities to work both in the greenhouse and the office in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

What you bring as a future colleague
•    A BSc or MSc in Agronomy or strong experience as an Agricultural Technical Engineer/grower.
•    5–7 years of relevant work experience.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and advanced Excel skills.
•    Strong organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to changes.
•    Fluency in Dutch and English.
•    Willing to travel frequently
