Make a difference as Product Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing market share and gross margin for the high-tech pepper and cucumber market in West European by optimizing variety positioning in close cooperation with the Global Portfolio Management. Your key tasks will include:

• Analysing regional sales and projections: Align with Subsidiary Sales Managers and the Global Portfolio Manager to ensure regional sales assortment is optimized.

• Co-creating regional strategic market plans: Develop detailed conventional and organic crop segment plans and provide feedback to Breeders about existing concepts and product models.

• Leading the product development process in the region: In close cooperation with R&D and our local sales teams you are steering the region process of product development.

• Advancing variety proposals: Decide on seed allocations and work with the Regional Sales Director for West Europe and Portfolio management to harmonize product and customer packages.

You will be part of a dynamic West European Product Manager Team, which collaborates closely with the Regional Sales Director, their local sales teams, and the Global Portfolio Management. To excel in this role, you will need:

• Agricultural background: A strong foundation in agriculture is essential. A solid knowledge of the dynamics in West European high-tech fruity markets is desired.

• Analytical skills: Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.

• Persuasive communication skills: Effective communication with various stakeholders.

• Collaboration skills: Work well within a team to achieve common goals.

• Your readiness for frequent domestic and regional business travel is required.
