Make a difference as Manager Quality Assurance

As Manager Quality Assurance, you will, in close collaboration with the Global Manager QA, oversee the implementation of quality standards and processes within Enza Zaden. You will lead the Quality Assurance program, ensuring compliance with certifications and fostering a quality-driven culture across the organization. By improving processes, creating the audit program, and enhancing certified protocols, you deliver an essential contribution to our ambition to meet the expectations of growers worldwide. Some of your key responsibilities include:

• Lead, develop, coach and motivate a growing team

• Implementation of a global Quality Assurance program, in collaboration with R&D, Seed Operations, and other key departments.

• Lead and participate in incident- and crisis-management teams, handling situations related to standards and certifications. Collect and analyse data, collaborate with SO, M&S, R&D, legal, and finance teams, and develop effective solutions.

• Establishing and maintaining global quality standards to ensure product excellence, chemical and biological safety, and compliance with relevant certifications.

• Representing Enza Zaden at industry platforms, staying ahead of evolving standards, and implementing best practices.

• Organizing and overseeing internal and external audits while liaising with authorities and certification bodies.

• Driving Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the company, involving internal auditors and quality officers globally.

• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Global Facilities, HR, and Purchasing, playing an active role in relevant management teams and external networks.

What you bring as a future colleague

• A Master’s degree in quality or process management, microbiology, food science, plant sciences, or another relevant field.

• At least 10 years of experience, including 6 years in a managerial role within quality assurance.

• Thorough knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, knowledge of ISO systems and industry-specific certifications is a pre

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience with continuous improvement tools and techniques (5S, Lean Six Sigma)

• Excellent communication skills, Proficient in English and Dutch language.
