Make a Difference as Legal Counsel 

In this role, you will: 

  • Support and advise our Marketing and Sales (M&S) department on a wide variety of commercial legal matters. 

  • Draft and review commercial agreements such as distribution agreements and general terms and conditions. 

  • Translate legal requirements into practical business solutions. 

  • When needed pick up other work for the Legal Team in areas that require support for example in the field of procurement, R&D, seed operations  

  • Work on various projects to further optimize processes and ways of working. 

  • Stay in close contact with stakeholders within M&S and the wider Legal department. 

 

What You Bring as a Future Colleague 

You are: 

  • Experienced in drafting and reviewing commercial agreements. 

  • Practical and able to translate legal obligations into business language and vice versa. 

  • Skilled in assessing (legal) risks versus business continuity. 

  • Proactive and engaged, always looking for ways to improve the business. 

  • Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus. 

  • Academically qualified with a degree in Law and 5+ years of relevant experience in-house as part of an international organization or as a lawyer in an (international) law firm, working with teams in different time zones and with diverse cultural backgrounds.

Tweede interview
Before you start your second interview, you have to make an OPQ. In your second interview we will go through your scores and you will meet the manager of the department.

Are we both positive after the second interview? Then we call you to share the good news. We will send you an email with the terms of employment and further information.

Onboarding
After a warm welcome on your first day of work, you will start a 3-month onboarding process where you will get to know your team, buddy, department and the company.
Proeftijd
After 2 months there will be an interview to see if we are both still satisfied with each other.
