Our users want to find this data easily, understand its meaning, know how to use it, and who to contact if they have questions. Most importantly, users want to trust the data they are working with. This is why we implement data management within Enza Zaden.

We are seeking an Informatica Engineer to join the central Data Management team. As an Informatica Engineer, you have in-dept knowledge about and experience with data management, specifically using Informatica. You know how to extend and manage our Informatica cloud environment.

Make a difference as Informatica Engineer

• Support technical execution of data management: Provide technical guidance and support to data stewards and other stakeholders, oversee execution, and visualize outcomes of the Informatica implementation. This includes translating functional requirements to technical requirements, building, running, and maintaining technical data quality checks, harvesting and integrating technical data lineage within our data landscape and developing and maintaining workflows for crucial Data Governance processes.

• Platform Maintenance and Configuration: Maintain and configure the Informatica platform, focusing on configuring and managing data sources, advising on Informatica technical integration, job scheduling and monitoring, handling user requests and solving incidents, troubleshooting technical issues with Informatica and implementing version updates and new developments.

What you bring as a future colleague

We are looking for a candidate with:

• Minimum HBO (bachelor) working and thinking level.

• Work experience with Informatica data management tooling (Intelligent Data Management Cloud, Data Engineering Developer Certified Professional).

• Experience in creating, testing, and executing data quality checks based on data quality requirements.

• Experience in building workflows in Informatica based on Data Management processes.

• Experience in integrating Data Management within a data landscape.

• Experience in developing, testing, and implementing data management solutions.

• Familiarity with Agile Way of Working.

• Proficiency in English and/or Dutch.

• Ability to share technical expertise within the team and translate complex matters into simple explanation

• Use your communication skills to support and advise platform users on optimal usage.

• Support colleagues in solving technical challenges.

• Train end-users on the possibilities of Informatica.

• Focus on building highly automated, generic, and scalable solutions instead of quick wins.

• Ensure the platform and its products comply with Enza security and architecture standards.

• Stay up-to-date with new trends and developments by keeping in touch with data professionals in other teams and external partner
