• Take full ownership of local accounting and R2R (record-to-Report) operations in a country-specific context.

• Be the main point of contact for internal specialists, local authorities, and external advisors.

• Play a key role in ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal control frameworks.

Make a difference as Finance Specialist

• Prepare and execute all local accounting activities including insurance, tax, payroll, compliance, and subsidy management.

• Collaborate with Record to Report Specialist and Business Control to ensure smooth delivery of financial services.

• Reconcile, process and declare VAT, prepare CIT documents and support inventory settlement.

• Prepare local financial statements and legal documentation for compliance.

• Monitor fixed assets processing and reconcile for statutory accounts.

• Represent Enza Zaden in interactions with tax authorities, external payroll office, and legal advisors.

• Observe regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.

• Maintain local administrative systems and internal control frameworks.

• Coordinate internal and external audits and review local contracts.

You will work in a team of three Finance Specialist, inner R2R with seven People. You report to the Regional Accounting Manager and work closely with internal stakeholders such as R2R Specialist, Local Business Controller, Local O2C and P2P Specialists, Business Control, Global Finance Control, Legal, HR, and the Global Manager Finance Operations. You will also engage with external parties including tax authorities, government institutions, and legal advisors.

What you bring as a future colleague 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (HBO level).

• 6 to 8 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Preferable accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, CPA, CMA, CHAEc or equivalent).

• Strong understanding of accounting practices and ledger systems.

• Knowledge of Record to Report, Order-to-Cash, and Purchase-to-Pay processes.

• Awareness of GAAP guidelines and statutory requirements.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Proficiency  in MS Excel, other MS Office Apps, and Dutch and English language, preferable MS Dynamics 365.

You are detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently. You like to cooperate, improve processes and share knowledge inner your Team and work as team player. You thrive under pressure and are comfortable engaging with international colleagues in a remote working environment.
