Assistant Researcher BTR-Cell Biology– Temporary till December 2024 for 32 hours
What are you going to do?
As a Cell Biology Assistant Researcher, you will work in a team of researchers to support the development of cell technology methods that can be implemented in breeding programs to accelerate new vegetable varieties pipelines. You will closely cooperate with our colleagues on the work floor, making sure your solutions will be easily implemented. This requires a hands-on and collaborative approach.
Your Power
You are passionate about plant development. Your attitude is analytic, proactive, and practical. You like to plan and organize your experiments and to critically review your own results drawing clear conclusions. You are eager to learn and work independently. You fit well working in a (multicultural) team. You are fluent in English. Dutch is not required but is a plus.
This is a temporary vacancy until December for 32 hours a week on location in Enkhuizen.
In short you,
- Have bachelor's or master's degree in (green) life sciences.
- Have experience with a wide range of in vitro cell and tissue culture methodologies.
- Have passion for handling plants in vitro and ex vitro .
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Are fluent in English. Dutch is a plus .
- Enjoy working in an international team .
