Vacancy: Mathematics Teacher
We are looking for a Mathematics teacher who will teach in the lower years, but mainly in the upper years of both HAVO and VWO. Since you will also teach lower secondary classes, an excellent command of English is essential.
You hold a first-degree teaching qualification in Mathematics, or you are in the final stage of obtaining it. Experience with HAVO examination classes is considered an advantage.
As a Mathematics teacher, you work independently and take responsibility for your role. At the same time, you are a team player who connects easily with students and colleagues within the department. You demonstrate professionalism and contribute your expertise and knowledge to the continuous improvement of learning processes. You play an important role in guiding students towards successful outcomes.
You work in a cyclical and reflective manner: you evaluate the results of your classes and adapt your pedagogical approach accordingly. You are passionate about Mathematics, enjoy inspiring students to appreciate the subject, and take satisfaction in helping students who find Mathematics particularly challenging.
