For a client in the insulation and air-climate sector, active in both residential construction and commercial/utilities, we are looking for a skilled Insulation Sheet Metal Worker. The company is based near Enschede, and projects take place throughout the Netherlands. They are known for craftsmanship, high-quality finishing and long-term cooperation with freelancers and temporary workers.
About the position
You will be responsible for fabricating and installing aluminium cladding on:
- ventilation ducts
- hot and cold pipelines
- machinery and technical installations
Tasks include:
- measuring, cutting, bending and forming sheet metal
- applying insulation materials (mineral wool, stone wool, armaflex)
- fabricating and installing aluminium protective cladding
- working from technical drawings or sketches
- working independently at various project locations
This role can be performed on a freelance basis or via temporary employment, depending on your preference.
What we ask of you
- Proven experience as an insulation sheet metal worker
- Skilled in aluminium cladding for ducts, pipes and machinery
- Able to work independently (freelance or temporary basis)
- Own tools and work van (required for freelancers)
- Accurate, safety-focused and reliable workmanship
- Willingness to work at various locations in the Netherlands
- Must speak Dutch or English at a functional level
