What You Will Do
As a teacher at IPS, you will:

• Inspire students through engaging, inquiry-based lessons tailored to their individual needs.
• Build strong, positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Create a welcoming and stimulating classroom where students feel safe, supported, and motivated.
• Use a variety of teaching and assessment strategies that promote curiosity, independence, and growth.
  Work collaboratively with your team to plan, reflect, and continuously improve.
• Contribute to the school community beyond the classroom by supporting events, activities, and school priorities.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Bachelor’s Degree in another subject with a PGCE (or equivalent teaching qualification).
• Certified to teach at least Group 2 (ages 5-6) and recognised by DUO, the Dutch authorities.
• Experience in an international school setting (IB experience is preferred but not essential).
• A current VOG (certificate of good conduct from the Dutch authorities).
• A criminal background check from the most recent (or current) country of employment.
• A valid work and residency permit if applying from outside the EU.
• A genuine desire to contribute to our lively and diverse school community.

• A temporary contract during maternity leave (1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week).
• Salary in scale LB (€3,463 - €5,277 per month), plus 8% holiday allowance and an 8.33% end-of-year bonus.
