As Senior Tactical Supply Planner Mid Tech you translate, together with your team, complex supply challenges into practical solutions that keep our customers supplied and our business moving forward. In this role, you work at the heart of our global supply chain, bringing together colleagues from Production, R&D, Quality and Demand Planning to create the best possible supply plan for your crop portfolio.
Make a difference as Senior Tactical Supply Planner Mid Tech
As Senior Tactical Supply Planner Mid Tech, you lead cross-functional Seed Supply Teams and you are responsible for the tactical supply planning of the global Cucurbit’s portfolio. You ensure that customer service levels are achieved while balancing supply risks, inventory levels, production capacities and business priorities. Working closely with stakeholders across the organization, you lead the tactical supply planning process and help translate data, scenarios and constraints into informed decisions. Your work directly contributes to seed availability for customers around the world. In this role, your work will include:
- Managing and coaching a team of around 3 Operational Supply Planners;
- Identifying supply risks, capacity bottlenecks and inventory challenges, and driving solutions together with Production, R&D, Quality and Commercial teams;
- Preparing and facilitating Tactical and Operational Seed Supply Reviews, ensuring alignment and clear follow-up on decisions and actions;
- Managing supply implications of new product introductions, phase-ins and phase-outs, and ensuring planning systems are prepared accordingly;
- Monitoring inventory quality and availability, managing and coaching Operational Supply Planners and supporting decision-making on seed inventory management;
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and participating in international supply chain projects.
What you bring as our future colleague
As Senior Tactical Supply Planner Mid Tech, you enjoy solving complex supply chain challenges and bringing people together around a common plan. You will coach and manage a small team on “going the extra mile for each other”. You can quickly analyse large amounts of information, identify priorities and translate insights into practical actions. You communicate confidently with stakeholders across functions and levels and are comfortable working in an international environment. In addition, you have:
- A Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field;
- Approximately 6 to 8 years of relevant experience within supply chain planning, operations or a comparable environment;
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with complex datasets;
- Experience with ERP systems, advanced planning tools and Excel applications;
- The ability to influence and align stakeholders without direct hierarchical authority;
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken.

- A position for 38 hours per week;
- A gross monthly salary between €5,974.10 and €8,534.42 based on a full-time workweek of 38 hours and aligned with your knowledge and experience;
- 8.33% vacation allowance and an attractive annual bonus program of 15% of your annual salary, depending on your job level and company performance;
- 25 vacation days, the option to purchase additional vacation days, and one paid vitality day per year, with extra vacation days granted as you get older;
- A laptop and mobile phone provided by Enza Zaden;
- A contribution toward overnight accommodation costs if you live farther away from Enza Zaden. This program applies to employees working for Enza Zaden in the Netherlands whose one-way commute exceeds 100 kilometers and 75 minutes;
- An attractive retirement plan, commuting reimbursement if you live more than 10 kilometers from your workplace and a remote work allowance when working partly from home in consultation with your manager;
