In brief
Design, manage and optimize Linux (RHEL) workstations and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).Automate the provisioning of VDI and workstations.Manage golden images, including DLP and policies.Monitor capacity and performance of the VDI environment (VMware, Citrix).Set up and improve monitoring, observability and log analysis (Splunk, Grafana).Improve secure remote access, remediate vulnerabilities and handle patch management (Zscaler).Troubleshoot complex issues and find the root cause.Take technical leadership: guide the team on content, safeguard quality and make technical decisions.Be a strong partner in discussions with integrators, developers, architects and other stakeholders.
This is what you like to do
- Linux administration (RHEL), VDI provisioning and automation, troubleshooting and RHEL workstation engineering
- Citrix SDS (Secure Desktop Services) and Citrix DaaS / Virtual Apps & Desktops
- VDI capacity and performance engineering (VMware, Citrix)
- Golden image management (DLP, policy)
- Monitoring, observability and log analysis (Splunk, Grafana)
- Secure remote access, vulnerability remediation and patch management (Zscaler)
- Storage: CIFS/SMB/NFS (NetApp filer)
- AD integration and DNS
- LDAP/Kerberos
- PKI and certificates
- PAM authentication
This is where you recognize yourself
- At least a Bachelor degree in a software related subject.
- Proven experience as Tech Lead, DevOps Lead, Project Lead (PL) or Product Owner (PO)
- You can clearly explain your technical specialty and actively contribute to discussions.
- You communicate well and bring others along, also in an environment with many stakeholders.
- You have a good command of English, both spoken and written.
Technical skills:
- Programming Languages: Python, TypeScript, JavaScript
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform (on-premises infrastructure deployments)
- Configuration Management & Automation: Ansible
- DevOps & Automation: Infrastructure provisioning, deployment automation, configuration management
- Platforms: On-premises environments
