As a (Senior) Freight Forwarder - Export, you play a crucial role in organizing and overseeing the export process for a wide range of goods. You coordinate shipments from start to finish, ensuring everything runs smoothly for clients. Your daily responsibilities include preparing export documents, booking cargo with airlines or shipping lines, liaising with customers and carriers, and solving logistical challenges as they arise. You'll be working from a modern office at Schiphol-Rijk, right at the heart of the Dutch logistics sector. Expect a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and proactive communication are key. Your main tasks include:
- Arranging and managing air and sea freight export shipments
- Preparing shipping and customs documentation
- Communicating daily with clients, carriers, and international partners
- Monitoring shipments and updating clients on progress
- Solving issues quickly to keep goods moving
- Working closely with colleagues in a supportive team
- Ensuring compliance with all export regulations
You will work full-time, Monday to Friday, between 08:00 and 18:00, with some flexibility to manage urgent shipments when needed.

Wat wij vragen
- Working and thinking level: MBO or HBO in logistics or a related field
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience as a freight forwarder, export coordinator, or similar role
- Solid knowledge of export procedures, customs regulations, and shipping documentation
- Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage multiple shipments
- Proficiency with common logistics and forwarding software
