Financial Administrative Assistant

We are currently looking for a motivated person for our MAN Energy Solutions Schiedam office. As a
Financial Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for updating the accounts payable and accounts receivable administration, and handling the collection of the accounts receivable.

Your role:

• Reviews payment deadlines using computer statements to detect overruns.
• Informs relevant departments about customer payment histories for proactive actions.
• Handles payment reminders through various channels following standard procedures.
• Registers all agreements in a computer program for streamlined record-keeping.
• Processes financial documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Performs quality checks on processed data, promptly rectifying irregularities.
• Manages end-to-end invoice payment process for timely transactions.
• Maintains control over bank account balances, correcting irregularities

Your qualifications:

• MBO4 level in accountancy.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and software programs.
• Strategic mindset with experience in administrative rules and procedures related to accounts receivable, accounts payable, and project administration (desirable).
• Highly developed administrative skills and a detail-oriented work style.
• Ability to effectively manage deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Good IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP Business One (desirable).
• Excellent command of written and spoken Dutch and English; German language skills are advantageous.
