This is what you like to do

As a Business Line Applications (BL Apps) VDI DevOps Engineer, you are end-to-end co-responsible for the operational health and quality of the BL Apps VDI services. Your focus, however, will be on the further development of new and existing Developer Workplace services.

You will work within the Developer Services ART that provides workplace services for BL Apps MPC software developers. You will work closely with other DevOps engineers, the Technical Lead and Product Owner in your team, as well as with other teams within the Train and cross-sectorally with IT and Security. You will also interact with software developers within D&E.

The team is technically responsible for the execution of multiple initiatives and all changes within the Developer Workplace domain. You will be working in a large and complex environment with complex processes.

This is where you recognize yourself

Education and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or similar
• Senior-level experience (8+ years) working with VDI, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices
• Experience and good knowledge of Agile Scrum and DevOps, preferably in a larger organization

Technical knowledge (key technologies):

• Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) with Citrix
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Ansible & GIT
• AI coding with GitHub Copilot or Mistral
• Private Cloud with VMware
• Windows automation with PowerShell

Nice to have:

• Containerization with Kubernetes or Docker
• Cloud Development Environments like Citrix SDS or Coder
• Linux automation with Shell scripting & Python
• Windows Subsystem for Linux
• Monitoring & Analytics with Splunk
• Public Cloud with Microsoft Azure
• Citrix products like uberAgent, SDS & SPA, deviceTRUST
• Client security products like Zscaler & DLP
• Windows application packaging & delivery with Chocolatey
• IT infrastructure with networking, storage & compute
• IDEs like Visual Studio, VS Code, IntelliJ & Rider

Hybrid working: 3 days at the office/with the client, 2 flexible days – Collaborating with colleagues and providing direct customer support.
