Thanks to your efforts, the Data Engineering team builds and maintains a data platform that empowers the organization to make data-driven decisions. This helps us optimize marketing performance, detect and prevent fraud, and enhance our users’ experience. In doing so, you directly contribute to a happy, healthy, and sporty Netherlands. As a Data Engineer, you’ll make an impact by:

• Designing and implementing technical solutions that empower engineering, data, and business teams.
• Using infrastructure-as-code principles to automatically build, test, and deploy data pipelines and platforms.
• Creating clear documentation and tutorials, and guiding colleagues with varying technical skill levels.
• Collaborating closely with business, architecture, and platform teams to translate needs into scalable data solutions.
• Developing high-quality solutions that solve real business challenges

This is probably also something you’d like to know: the Data Management team consists of 3 teams. We have an open position for the Datalake team. The Datalake team is building a Big Data & AI platform for internal analytics users. The team works with Azure Databricks, Delta Live Tables, Python and Dbt.

• an education, professional credentials, and/or demonstrable expertise in Computer Science or Engineering. 
• 3+ years of experience in building data engineering solutions and experience in structured & unstructured data, data lakes, scheduling and orchestration. 
• a strong proficiency in Python, Spark and data engineering paradigms and good knowledge of Cloud Computing, Containerization, CI/CD and DevOps.
• experience in SQL, NoSQL and database design. 

For this vacancy, you have very good analytical skills and are able to quickly learn new skills and concepts. Furthermore you have a collaborative workstyle with focus on achieving goals.

As a Data Engineer we offer you:

• a salary between €4.800,- and €6.800,- gross a month, depending on your experience.
• a fulltime position for 40 hours per week.
• an interesting bonus scheme.
• you can enjoy a healthy and varied lunch in our corporate restaurant for €3,25.
