About the Role
As a Teacher of Chemistry and Physics, you will:
Deliver engaging Chemistry and Physics lessons, in German, to students aged 11-18, following the European Baccalaureate curriculum.
Create an inclusive classroom environment where every student’s talent is nurtured.
Collaborate with a team of passionate educators to support a thriving science programme.
We are also recruiting for a Mathematics and for a Biology / Integrated Science teachers in the German language section. We will accept applications from teachers who have any combinations of two from Chemistry / Phyiscs / Biology / Maths / Integrated Science.

Enjoy competitive benefits. We offer a salary aligned with the Dutch Collective Labour Agreement (CAO VO). The salary is a minimum of €3463 and a maximum of €5277 for a full-time contract on the LB scale. The salary scale and the step offered will depend on your level of experience.
A permanent position, subject to recognition of your teaching qualifications by DUO and the successful completion of a one-year probationary period.

What We’re Looking For
A Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Chemistry and full teaching qualification for Secondary Education (recognized by the Dutch Education Authorities).
Teaching qualification for the upper secondary level or grammar school or willingness to acquire the qualification while working (in the case of a teaching qualification for the lower secondary level).
Experience teaching modern physics in higher classes covering for example quantum mechanics and astrophysics.
Ability to deliver lessons in German (C1 level or above).
Good command of English for communication within school. Part of the interview process will be in English.
Experience in teaching Physics/Chemistry in Dutch or English is an advantage, but not essential.
Experience teaching in international or intercultural settings is desirable.
A creative, inclusive approach to teaching and a willingness to contribute to extra-curricular activities.
Experience teaching Physics/Chemistry at European Baccalaureate, International Baccalaureate, or GCE A level is an advantage.
Strong didactic skills and familiarity with IB (Inquiry-Based) teaching.
