YOUR ROLE

At our campus in Roosendaal, we are looking for multiple Assistant Warehouse Supervisors due to expansion and internal mobility. In this versatile role as an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating a team of warehouse operators. You will oversee approximately 15 warehouse operators on a daily basis, monitoring the team's processes and productivity. The application of the LEAN philosophy is crucial in this role. You will ensure efficient personnel deployment and be responsible for maintaining order and cleanliness in the department and warehouse. Additionally, you will guide employees in their daily tasks and ensure compliance with regulations outlined in the house rules (both operationally and in terms of Safety, Quality, Health, and Environment). You will also be attentive to any anomalies or deviations and address them promptly. Naturally, you will provide input to the supervisor for planning, progress, and performance discussions. In the absence of the supervisor, you will take on their tasks.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor, you will manage a team of approximately 15 individuals on a daily basis. You will closely collaborate with the other Assistant Warehouse Supervisor and Supervisor. Your base location is Roosendaal, and we serve various customers on this campus, including fashion and industrial clients. Working hours vary per customer, as does the application of seasonal demands, which might involve morning shifts on Saturdays or occasional night shifts every two weeks.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You are someone who naturally takes on leadership. You prioritize quality and easily adapt to processes and procedures. Moreover, you come up with initiatives that can be used for improvements. You also bring the following knowledge and experience:

• Intermediate vocational education (MBO) level;
• Leadership experience in logistics, retail, or FMCG;
• Knowledge of warehousing and automated information systems;
• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
