About our team:

In our Fulfiment Centre in Wijchen we have welcomed already 3 new e-commerce webshops for contact lensens. We will launch more banners in the coming years. As Assistant Teamleader your primary role is to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our logistics processes within our e-commerce warehouse. In addition to your regular logistics responsibilities you will play a crucial role in training new operators and solving logistics challenges to optimize our operations.

Responsibilities :?

  • Assisting the Team Leader of the inbound or outbound team (maximum 30 employees) to ensure smooth and efficient operation. You also have a second trainer/assistant team leader who contributes to this.
  • Perform the administrative (in WMS system) + physical processes (with operators) to smoothly execute the below activities:
  • Outbound = Timely release of order picking, packing of orders, sending of the orders according to the correct carrier. All this to send all orders on time according to the correct procedures.
  • Inbound = Goods receipt, PO receipt in WMS system and reconciliation after storage. Follow-up of problems after reconciliation.
  • Ensure a safe and organized work environment, adhere to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety awareness.
  • Train based on work instructions to ensure the operator's required quality level.
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to team members to address any issues or training needs.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), aiming to achieve and exceed set targets.

Profiel kandidaat

What are we looking for ?

  • Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment processes with inventory management systems.
  • Willingness to lead the group (weekend services and also as a backup in case the Team Leader is not available) .
  • Driver of changes / continuous improvement / training of employees to achieve the desired standard .
  • Team player that is communication and interpersonal skills .
  • Flexibility in working hours, also in the evenings and at weekends if necessary.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken. Preferably also Dutch. 
  • Nice and dry working environment, constant temprature
