Wij bieden

• A gross hourly wage starting from €15.52, depending on your experience*;
• Salary paid every four weeks, resulting in 13 salary payments per year;
• A travel allowance of €0.14 per kilometre if you travel at least 20 kilometres per day;
• 8% holiday allowance, paid in May;
• 10% accrual of holiday hours and a 5% year-end bonus;
• 26 days of annual leave based on full-time employment, plus an additional day off on your birthday;
• Several fixed-term employment contracts;
• The opportunity to obtain your SVS basic cleaning qualification;
• Training and development opportunities to progress to positions such as Housekeeping Supervisor.

*The stated gross hourly wage applies to employees aged 20 and over.

Jouw baan
As a Houseman, you support the housekeeping team and make sure that both colleagues and hotel guests receive the assistance they need. Your responsibilities include:

• Transporting and replenishing clean and used linen;
• Handling requests from hotel guests;
• Placing and moving extra beds and baby cots;
• Replenishing supplies on the hotel floors;
• Supporting the housekeeping team when needed;
• Keeping corridors, storage areas and workspaces clean and organised.

You will mainly work from 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM, 7.5 hours per day. You will work five days per week according to a schedule and must also be available during weekends.

Jij bent

• Flexible and available to work different days, mainly from 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM;
• Able to work independently and speak English
• Accurate, service-oriented and comfortable working in a luxury hotel environment;
• Physically fit and able to transport linen and move extra beds;
• Living in Amsterdam or the surrounding area.

Experience in housekeeping or a hotel environment is helpful, but not required.
