Make a Difference as Legal Counsel 

In this role, you will:

• Draft and review a wide variety of agreements in close collaboration with other legal team members.
• Further optimize (legal) processes and ways of working and where applicable think along how systems can support this. 
• Support the further roll out of contract lifecycle management.

• Analyze new or updated laws and regulations and translate these into understandable and practical requirements. 

•  Stay in close contact with stakeholders in the business and the wider Legal department. 

What you bring as a Legal Counsel

You are: 

• Proactive and engaged, always looking for ways to improve processes and ways of working.
• Experienced in drafting and reviewing a wide variety of agreements. 

• Practical and able to translate legal obligations into business language and vice versa. 

• Skilled in assessing (legal) risks versus business continuity. 

• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus. 

• Academically qualified with a degree in Law and 5+ years of relevant experience in-house as part of an international organization or as a lawyer in an (international) law firm, working with teams in different time zones and with diverse cultural backgrounds.
