Global Manager Quality Assurance

Make a difference as Global Manager Quality Assurance
As Global Manager Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards and processes within Enza Zaden. You will develop the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure that our company continuously meets all certification requirements, so that our product and process quality is always guaranteed. Some of your tasks include:
Lead and motivate a growing team of 8 (in)direct colleagues
Develop a strategic QMS with departments such as Research and Development (R&D) and Seed Operations to effectively manage risks
Establish and maintain global quality standards and protocols, focusing on the best quality for our product, vegetable seeds, as well as chemical and biological safety
Ensure the organisation and supervision of internal and external audits and coordinate with authorities and auditors
Manage and promote improvement programmes for Lean and Continuous Improvement for more than 600 colleagues
You will work closely with various departments, including Global Facilities and HR, and play an active role in relevant management teams and external networks within the seed industry.
What you bring as a future colleague
University degree (Master) in quality or process management or a relevant scientific direction such as microbiology, food science or plant sciences
At least 12 years of relevant work experience, with at least 8 years in a managerial role
In-depth knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and standards, preferably with ISO certification and certifications in the horticultural sector (e.g. Naktuinbouw Authorised Laboratories (NAL), Good Seeds and Plant Practices (GSPP), organic certification (including SKAL and Control Union))
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with Lean and Continuous Improvement techniques (5S, Lean Six Sigma)
Excellent communication skills, fluent in English in addition to (fluent in) Dutch
