YOUR ROLE 

At our campus in Roosendaal, we are looking for several Assistant Warehouse Supervisors for an exciting project, and after the project's completion, you will transition from the project organization to the line organization! In this versatile role as Assistant Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating a team of warehouse operators.

Daily, you will supervise around 25 warehouse operators and monitor the process and productivity of the team. The application of the LEAN philosophy is crucial in this context. You will ensure the efficient deployment of personnel and take charge of maintaining order and tidiness in the department and the warehouse. Furthermore, you will guide employees in their daily tasks and oversee compliance with regulations described in the house rules (both operationally and in terms of Safety, Quality, Health, and Environment). Additionally, you will be attentive to any abnormalities or deviations and resolve them promptly.

Of course, you will also provide input to the supervisor for planning, progress, and performance discussions. In the supervisor's absence, you will take over their tasks. 

WHAT WILL YOU DO? 

As Assistant Warehouse Supervisor, you will manage a team of approximately 25 people daily. You will work closely with the other Assistant Warehouse Supervisor and Supervisor. Your workplace is in Roosendaal, and we serve various customers on this campus, including fashion and industrial clients. The client you will be working for is a fashion client for whom we supply 70 European stores. Depending on the season, there are 200-400 people working here. Our warehouse is approximately 70,000 m2 in size, and you will be part of a dedicated and international team. 

The warehouse operates from 06:00 AM to 00:00 AM, so the role involves shift operations. The working hours are 06:00 AM to 03:00 PM and 03:00 PM to 00:00 AM, alternating weekly with your colleague Assistant Warehouse Supervisor. 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

You are someone who naturally takes on a leadership role. Quality is your focus, and you quickly grasp processes and procedures. Additionally, you come up with initiatives that can be used for improvements. Moreover, you bring the following knowledge and experience: 

• Leadership experience in logistics, Retail, or FMCG; 
• Passion for working in a LEAN environment and the ambition to continuously improve (processes); 
• Knowledge of warehousing and automated information systems; 
• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
