Regional Marketing Communication Specialist for West Europe at Enza Zaden

  • You are part of the West European Marketing & Sales team and contribute to the development of our regional position and sales growth.  

  • Your focus is Marketing Communication towards customers and key value chain stakeholders in the vegetable industry in West Europe.  

  • You work at the intersection of regional strategy and marketing communication, shaping how we present our innovative varieties and brand. 

  • You collaborate directly with product, sales and marketing teams, making your work highly visible and impactful across countries. 

  • You get the opportunity to develop marketing within the vegetable category and Enza Zaden. 

 

Key responsibilities 

  • Enhance our customer relationships, build thought leadership and enable knowledge sharing, promote our innovative varieties and drive brand & concept reputation on a West European level.  

  • Develop and implement the regional marketing communication plan based on the leading priorities and sales drivers in West Europe.   

  • Organise and coordinate regional Enza Zaden events and selected external events in alignment with the product and sales teams. 

  • Create and support innovative, consumer-driven product concepts to develop the vegetable category and secure future growth. 

  • Guide and support the local marketing teams in implementing regional marketing initiatives and support them developing local initiatives. 

  • Build connections across local, regional and global teams, with marketing, sales, product management and beyond. 

  • Participate in regional, international and multidisciplinary projects, including key customer initiatives. 

 

Your team and work environment 

You will be part of the West European Regional Marketing team, reporting to the Regional Marketing Manager. You work closely with the local marketeers and sales teams from the different subsidiaries, regional product managers and the global marketing team. 

The role is based in the Netherlands and includes domestic and international travel through West Europe. 

 

What you bring as a future colleague 

Skills & experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business Economics, Marketing or related) 

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant marketing experience 

  • Proven expertise in: 

  • B2B marketing communication & activation 

  • B2B customer experience & events 

  • Conceptualization & positioning   

  • Strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability 

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills 

  • Strong project management, analytical, data-savvy 

  • Highly collaborative, with strong intercultural understanding 

  • A self-starter who is comfortable working in a dynamic environment 

  • Proficient in English and Dutch (written and verbal) 

  • Based in the Netherlands 

  • Spanish and/or German language skills are a strong plus
