We are now looking for a customer centric marketing manager to work closely with the Food & Beverage Solutions business development team in Europe to execute the defined category strategies for our Savory and Sweet business across the CPG and FoodService channels.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver data and insights that will inform (further) development of category strategies.
- Value proposition development for identified channel and category solutions.
- Create and execute category specific marketing strategies, tactics, and marcomms plans, delivering results measured against key performance indicators.
- Create category specific content and create a full suite of marketing assets to engage customers with the category offerings across our owned and paid channels.
- Lead development of focused category events, webinars and trade shows to represent the company and promote our solutions.
- Deliver campaign trainings for frontline, customer facing teams to ensure front-line understanding of all elements of the category value proposition & customer engagement programs.
- Provide marketing updates to key stakeholders to keep them up to date on major consumer trends and technical, regulatory and manufacturing influences on current and potential product ranges.
- Lead implementation of our digital customer needs & sampling feedback platform and report out on these regularly.
- Collaborate with colleagues in marketing & communications to develop opportunities for laser-focused awareness generation & brand building across relevant target audiences.
- Participate in Customer engagement across categories to build customer intelligence and appropriately curate and deliver content to support the Sales team.
- Help define and own the customer engagement metrics (via SalesForce and other internal systems) and align internal stakeholders on achieving continuous improvement across the agreed metrics.

Profiel kandidaat
You are passionate about the food industry and have experience in the B2B ingredients space, preferably within a food service or CPG. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must be able to skillfully navigate across the breadth and depth of our company, establishing effective working relationships with colleagues both across sales, marketing, sustainability & innovation, on a regional and global level.
Requirements needed to operate successfully in this role:
- Deep understanding of the European food industry landscape, including food service and CPG ecosystems. Experience in customer facing roles in Europe.
- Demonstrable knowledge of developing marketing and customer engagement strategies and value propositions in the food (ingredients) industry. Digital Marketing & Marketing Automation Experience.
- Creative problem-solver with a growth mindset; finding ways to simplify process / improve performance
- Collaborator at heart – open to establishing new relationships and open to collaboration. Be able to juggle different priorities at the same time while keeping focus.
- Experience in working with market and customer databases as well as with interpreting market reports, such as Nielsen, Innova, Mintel, Euromonitor etc.
- Experience in pipeline development and lead generation strategies.
- Capable of thinking strategically, while able to manage multiple hands-on tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible mindset, keen to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
Qualifications:
- Relevant marketing or communications degree, Bachelor/Masters
- 7-10 years of customer/category marketing experience in Europe
- Experience working in B2B Food Industry
- (near) native English speaker
