Make a difference as a Production Manager Seeds
In this role, you will:
Manage, coach, and develop a team of Planners and Production Specialists;
Be accountable for the global seed production of leafy crops, ensuring quality, quantity, cost, and timing performance;
Lead and actively participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), management, and crop segment teams;
Drive cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Marketing, and Sales for seamless variety development and producibility;
Develop business cases and manage projects to optimize processes, seed technology, and producibility;
Contribute to the development and execution of production strategies at both departmental and crop levels.
You’ll be part of a dynamic team, working closely with senior stakeholders, external suppliers, and strategic partners to ensure smooth end-to-end processes.
What you bring as a future colleague
We are seeking a proactive and business-minded professional with:
A BSc or MSc degree in agronomy, supply chain, or business;
Over 8 years of experience in building, managing, and coaching teams;
Proven expertise in project management, with over 4 years of experience in leading complex projects;
Knowledge of agronomical manufacturing, production processes, and Sales & Operations Planning;
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large, complex datasets;
Exceptional teamwork and communication skills, with fluency in English (Dutch is a plus);
A willingness to travel both within Europe and internationally.
Your leadership, problem-solving abilities, and enthusiasm for agriculture will help drive the success of this role.
