The International School Utrecht is an International Baccalaureate World School and part of SPO Utrecht (primary) and Nuovo Scholen (secondary). ISUtrecht offers the International Baccalaureate curriculum for students from 4-19 from diverse international backgrounds. Vacancy
The International School Utrecht is looking to recruit an enthusiastic person for the role of classroom teacher in Grade 1  to 4.
Please note: candidates with International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme experience will be taken into consideration first.
 
Qualifications and experience:

• A degree in Primary Education (DUO recognised)
• Experience teaching IB PYP is preferred
• Experience in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
• A minimum of five years’ classroom experience

 
The ideal candidate should have the following attributes:

• A genuine passion for teaching primary school students, with a commitment to nurturing their academic and personal development.
• Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
• A willingness to learn and grow, embracing feedback and new approaches in education.
• Experience or interest in the development and implementation of curriculum, preferably within the IB PYP framework.
• A flexible and adaptable mindset, able to respond to the dynamic needs of an international and multilingual classroom.
• Experience in or enthusiasm for supporting English as an Additional Language (ELA) learners, using inclusive strategies to ensure language development and access to the curriculum.
