The job
We are seeking for a English Language & Literature Teacher for 0,75 FTE in a replacement appointment. You will be responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their language skills, critical thinking, and appreciation for literature. Through interactive lessons and thoughtful feedback, you will inspire students to take ownership of their learning and to engage meaningfully with a diverse range of texts and perspectives.

As part of a supportive and enthusiastic team, you will contribute to the wider school community and work closely with colleagues to deliver the English Language and Literature curriculum in line with our educational philosophy. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, a student-centred approach, and a commitment to fostering a lifelong love of reading, writing, and effective communication.

Profiel kandidaat

You have a relevant degree, are eligible to work in the EU and you have a DUO recognized teaching qualification;
An understanding and knowledge of different cultural backgrounds;
A collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team;
Willingness to embrace the conceptual approach and innovative practices of the IB MYP;
Ability to collaborate with colleagues across different Humanities disciplines;
Skill in using differentiation effectively to support students with varying abilities in the classroom.
