Global Strategic Finance Business Partner

As Global Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in improving the performance, growth, and strategic development of Seed Operations and the Business Dynamic Open Field. In this position, you will have the opportunity to act as a trusted advisor to senior management and influence key business decisions. By doing so, you will contribute to sustainable and future-proof food production while supporting the continued growth and success of Enza Zaden. 

Make a difference as Global Finance Business Partner 

As Global Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in driving performance, value creation, and strategic growth for Seed Operations and the Business Dynamic Open Field. You will work closely with the Functional Director, Senior Management Teams, and cross-functional stakeholders as a trusted advisor and active member of both leadership teams. By providing financial insights, challenging decision-making, and leading planning and performance processes, you help ensure that strategic ambitions are translated into measurable business results. Your impact will be visible in initiatives such as investment decisions, business cases, operational improvements, and long-term growth opportunities across Enza Zaden. 

In this role, your work will include: 

• Acting as a strategic finance partner to the Functional Director and Management Teams, providing insights, challenge, and decision support.

• Leading the planning and control cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance management across the function.

• Driving value creation and strategy execution as a member of the Functional Management Team and Business Dynamic Team. 

• Developing high-quality financial analyses, business cases, investment proposals, and supporting strategic initiatives such as M&A activities. 

• Collaborating with the CFO, Finance Management Team, and Global Business Control Lead Team on financial performance and business priorities.

• Strengthening finance capabilities by coaching and partnering with regional and local Business Controllers and Finance Managers.

In addition, you have: 

• A Master's degree in Finance, Business Economics, Accounting, or a related field. 

• Approximately 10 years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, Controlling, or a comparable finance role. 

• Experience working in an international and multicultural environment, preferably within supply chain or operations. 

• Proven experience developing business cases, performance analyses, budgeting, and forecasting processes. 

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and advise senior leadership teams. 

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

• A position for 38 hours per week;  

• A gross monthly salary between €6,943 and €9,919, based on a full-time workweek of 38 hours and aligned with your knowledge and experience;  

• 8.33% vacation allowance and an attractive annual bonus program of 15% of your annual salary, depending on your job level and company performance;  

• 25 vacation days, the option to purchase additional vacation days, and one paid vitality day per year, with extra vacation days granted as you get older;  

• A laptop and mobile phone provided by Enza Zaden;  

• A contribution toward overnight accommodation costs if you live farther away from Enza Zaden. This program applies to employees working for Enza Zaden in the Netherlands whose one-way commute exceeds 100 kilometers and 75 minutes;  

• An attractive retirement plan, commuting reimbursement if you live more than 10 kilometers from your workplace and a remote work allowance when working partly from home in consultation with your manager;
